EXECUTIVE POSITION VACANCY & ELECTION
One SERGEANT AT ARMS position on the Executive Board has become vacant and nominations for election to this position are now open.
Nomination forms are available at the Union Hall.
To be eligible for election, a member must be in continuous good standing for one year prior to nomination.
Nominations will close on Friday, June 11th at 4pm.
An election, if necessary, will be held on Tuesday, June 22nd at the Union Hall.
Polls will be open from 6am to 8pm.
From the Local Union By-laws the duties of Sergeant At Arms are:
The Sergeant-at-Arms will introduce all new members and visitors and assist the President in preserving order when called upon to do so. They also will take charge of all property of the Local Union not otherwise provided for and perform other duties as assigned.
